Collection: HO Scale
Here you can find ALL our HO Scale products, across different gauges - HOBG (19mm gauge), HO Gauge (16.5mm gauge), HOm (12mm gauge) and HOe (9mm gauge).
Note ALL these models correspond to HO SCALE which is 1:87 or 3.5mm to foot scale, HOWEVER, just like in the real world different trains run on different gauges. Below are the brief explanations of each:
HO - 16.5mm gauge: This represents the global standard HO gauge tracks at 16.5mm gauge which corresponds to the standard gauge tracks in real life. You will find most of our Broad Gauge models are made to accommodate this gauge because HO standard gauge is widely used across the globe and for collectors it makes more sense to make a slight compromise in the track gauge in order to expand their collection with Indian Railways models.
HOBG - 19mm gauge: This represents HO Scale Broad Gauge. Indian Broad gauge when converted to HO Scale comes to 19.25mm, however, no commercial tracks exist with that gauge. So we have made HOBG with the nearest commercially available track system called P4 gauge. P4 gauge is 18.84mm which is rounded off to 19mm gauge for ease of interpretation. As of now, this is for Puritans and our offering is limited to pure display models and custom orders.
HOm - 12mm gauge: Representing real-life Metre Gauge at 1;87 scale, HOm correctly showcases metre gauge trains without any gauge compromise. HOm is an established HO scale gauge around the globe and commercial tracks are available from many manufacturers.
HOe/HOn30 - 9mm gauge: 9mm gauge tracks in HO scale represents 2'6" narrow gauge in real life. However, a 2' narrow gauge is often modeled in HOe as well because it is easier to standardize the gauge. Our HOe collection combines both 2'6" and 2' Narrow Gauge prototypes of the Indian Railways
