Darjeeling Himalayan Railway holds a special place in our hearts! The real DHR has a rich history and in model form, it is the most modeled Indian Railway with contributions from many talented modelers around the globe over many decades. We bring a modern flavor to modeling DHR using the latest technologies and simplistic design and primarily focussing on DHR in the modern era. Our kits are extremely budget-friendly. We kept these kits affordable because we are truly interested in spreading the beauty of DHR to as many homes as we possibly can, both in India and abroad. We are also very proud to have been able to do so while living here in India. Our kits work very well as display models but they are mainly designed to build working model railway engines and rolling stock.
DHR kits are available in two scales OO9 (1:76) and HOe (1:87) - both running on 9mm gauge tracks. While in OO9 the gauge-scale fidelity is much better, HOe is perfect for those who model in HO scale and want to maintain that proportion for DHR. It is important to note that our Broad Gauge and Meter gauge models are also in HO Scale.
