What in included in the 'KIT' ?

The DIY kits have 3D printed components. Includes all detail parts and appropriate decals and jigs where applicable. Assembly and painting required.

Can I motorise the locos?

Some of the locos are designed in a way that can be made totally operable. For any particular locomotive, details are provided in the product description.

You have the flexibility to make a display model or a motorized model depending on your skills to convert them into a running model.

We suggest using the recommended motors for the optimum performance.

What sort of wheels do I get?

By default, all of the kits except some of the locomotives contain 3D printed wheels. For the locomotives that are meant to be motorised, no wheels are included in the regular kit.

For the rolling stock, 3D printed wheels are included, however, please note that the 3D printed wheels are good for display only and will not be suitable for running the models in a layout. Please use suitable plastic or metal wheelsets available to you. Wherever possible we have provided our recommendations in the product description.

Really pleased that these wagons have been done as a kit - I love building kits!
This one is a really easy one to put together - hardest part of completing it was doing the research to get the right paint finish and numbering details correct. There are not a lot of photos showing these vans available to work with, That makes the information available from the PMW instructions and decals even more useful. I now have 4 of them but will be getting some more shortly.

In short - a great product that is simple to assemble and finish off, ready to put on a layout.

Freight car is an easy model to start your DHR modeling!

I have bought six of these little beauties, so easy to assemble and the decals are super! The D shaped couplers make it just look right, but you could also use Peco loop and hook couplers, space for them is on the model.

The C type box van kit like all other kits is well packaged with everything thought about even down to where to source metal wheels in the UK. The kit is really well designed and printed. Even down to provision of decals and paint match card with the kit.
