3D Printing Artisan/Technician

3D Printing Artisan/Technician will be responsible to handle various 3D printing and model making activities. The person MUST be able to handle intricate and delicate plastic parts, must have fine motor skills, patience and ability to problem solve in a real time environment. It is also important to point out that this person will do repetitive work on a daily basis and must have the mental and emotional ability to handle mundane work yet produce high quality output every single time – every mistake and error will cause a loss to the firm and this person must have the sense of accountability to maintain a quality mindset despite doing the same thing over and over again. Main responsibilities will include:

• Planning: We run 3D printers in production mode and the person handling 3D printing must be able to independently plan to print all components in a product in a various batches as per the production plan given by the management.
• Pre-processing: Must evaluate and understand various components of each product, add appropriate support for each model in the slicing software, slice models with accurate printer and resin profile.
• Managing 3D printing process:
  • Remove 3D printed parts from 3D printers following standard methods and tools. The person MUST be following all personnel health and safety precautions prescribed for each stage diligently.
  • Remove supports from intricate, delicate and functional 3D printed parts, components and models without causing any damage to the printed parts. This is the key part of the job which will require meticulous planning, patience and ability to understand how support structures work in a model and how to separate them without causing damage to the main print. Real time problem solving is key.
  • Cleaning and post processing of 3D printed parts
• Pre-production activities:
  • Provide finishing to all printed parts so that they are ready for painting and/or assembly. Activities will include:
    • Fine sanding, correcting printing defects, provide superior surface finish on all printed parts.
    • For parts that are required for functional assembly, ensuring they are within the acceptable tolerance range. Any pre-processing required must be handled carefully to maintain functional integrity of the parts.
  • Cataloguing and arranging production ready parts as per the prescribed production batch process in their designated container/area
  • Coordinate with Painting and/or Assembly Artisan/Technician to make sure all parts are ready for their consumption
• Assembly and Quality Check:
  • Work with designers and creators to understand the final product and the assembly steps
  • Assemble multiple finished parts that go through complex assembly process
  • Document and create assembly instructions for new productions
  • Ensuring all assembled and final models go through a thorough QC process as per the standard set by the organization to ensure only quality products pass through to the customer

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must have demonstrated ability to do fine work with his/her hands. Must be nimble with handling of fine parts, have fine motor skills and ability to understand complex structures in 3 dimensions
• Any hands-on artisanal or craft experience that deals with fine, repetitive work
• Mental steadiness to be able to do repetitive work every day without compromising quality of the output
• Experience with any of the following is a BIG plus:
  • 3D printing
  • Miniature/Model making (architectural or otherwise)

Language and Education:

• Must be fluent in speaking and understanding any two of these languages: Hindi, English, Telugu or Bengali
• Must have decent writing/typing skills in English
• Minimum educational qualification: 10^th grade/High School

Electronics and Model Assembly Technician

Location: Hyderabad.

The electronics and assembly technician will be responsible for the complete assembly of electric/electronic models, including highly precision electro-mechanical models and components. The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Assembling miniature gearboxes and drive mechanisms
• Assembling electro-mechanical components, like motors and actuators
• Installing electronics components, including various sizes of PCBs and LEDs
• Aiding in designing PCBs required for different products – provide hands-on feedback on internal space management of products that can result in efficient and quick installations that optimizes assembly time
• Performing thorough quality check of each assembled products for accurate working as per the set parameters

It is also important to point out that this person will do repetitive work on a daily basis and must have the mental and emotional ability to handle mundane work yet produce high quality output every single time – every mistake and error will cause a loss to the firm and this person must have the sense of accountability to maintain a quality mindset despite doing the same thing over and over again.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated ability to assemble complex electro-mechanical components like robots and advanced toys
• Must understand working of gears clearly and how to troubleshoot mechanical issues related to gears
• Must have excellent soldering skills and experience of soldering small and fine components quickly. The incumbent will be soldering electrical/electronics components in close proximity or sometimes in contact with plastic so top-notch soldering skills is a must
• Must understand basics of electronics and should be able to design and build simple electronic circuit
• 1+ years of experience working with /repairing /assembling robots, drones, advanced electro-mechanical toys or clocks/watches

Language and Education:

• Must be fluent in speaking and understanding any two of these languages: Hindi, English, Telugu or Bengali
• Must have decent writing/typing skills in English
• Minimum educational qualification: 12^th grade/High School

Model Painting Artist

Painting artist/technician will be responsible to accurately paint and detail models. The person MUST be able to handle various types of painting jobs on intricate and highly detailed models. The job will require keen attention to detail and accuracy. A typical painting job will require the below works to be done:

• Produce high quality, crisp and accurately painted products.
• Replicate same colour scheme repeatedly in multiple models without any variations.
• Create masking and painting templates for various products to ensure accurate repeatability across multiple production batches.
• Accurate masking for different colour schemes /livery as per the prescribed method.
• Painting models in different colour schemes using an airbrush and/or automotive spray paint
• Paint small and delicate parts accurately using paint brushes
• Accurately apply decals following the prescribed methods and ensure that the process is repeated accurately for the same class of models.
• The person might have to do some small assembly from time to time.

It is also important to point out that this person will do repetitive work on a daily basis and must have the mental and emotional ability to handle mundane work yet produce high quality output every single time – every mistake and error will cause a loss to the firm and this person must have the sense of accountability to maintain a quality mindset despite doing the same thing over and over again.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1 year+ experience with airbrushing - Must have demonstrated ability to use airbrush to paint detailed and delicate parts
• Clearly understand the concept of masking and how masking layers need to be applied to achieve complex patterns over contoured surface without any paint bleed
• Demonstrated ability to create repeatable painting process for each product category so that same paint scheme can be repeated across hundreds of products without any variations and can be replicated across various production batches.
• Experience with any of the following will be a BIG plus:
  • Model miniature painting using airbrush
  • Automotive painting and detailing

Office Admin and Shopify Expert -  An Workspace All-rounder!

We are looking for a hard-working professional who will be able to undertake a variety of office support tasks, work diligently and deliver under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results for the workplace. We need someone with excellent communication skills, good typing/writing skills, bold yet calm under pressure and a great relationship builder who can bring a lot of positive energy to the floor. You are expected to be everywhere and manage a great deal of 'little' things.

Responsibilities

Organizing and maintaining workspace:

• Organize shop floors, maintain premises (with the help of vendors and/or other workers).
• Organize meetings, distribute minutes and maintain timetables and daily plans.
• Maintain attendance and leaves for all employees and submit reports to management on a monthly basis. Will also liaise between employees and management for leave approval, out of schedule work hours etc.
• Organize small events and help the team with organizing bigger events as and when necessary.
• Create, update and maintain inventory of goods and supplies. Create POs and work with various vendors and suppliers to negotiate and place orders.
• Resolve office-related malfunctions and facility issues by working with vendors and other workers.
• Maintain various documents - POs, bills, packing slips and dispatch orders and generate reports on a monthly basis.

Order management and customer support:

• Level 1 customer support - answer primary business phone, SMSs and WhatsApp queries from various customers, prioritize and channel customer queries and escalations. Take order over the phone.
• Manage and maintain orders in Shopify
• Maintain Shopify store: Work with the management and the product owners to create and maintain product content and website pages.
• Manage Shopify apps to manage various features of the store and admin module of Shopify.
• Generate weekly and monthly report and analysis for the management 

Qualities and Qualifications:

• Hardworking, punctual and extremely conscientious but with an uplifting personality and a lot of positive energy. Ability to keep a good vibe even in tough times.
• Must have excellent English communication skills.
• Must be fluent in speaking and understanding any two of these languages: Hindi, Telugu or Bengali.
• Must be a good communicator.
• Must have experience working with Shopify or similar applications.
• Basic understanding of managing a web store.
• Working experience with Canva or similar applications.
• Good understanding of excel/workbooks and typical office suite and how to use them in real life scenarios to solve problems.
• Willingness to learn and drive efficiency wherever possible without incurring cost/investment - a creative thinker inside the box.

Experience and Education:

• 2 years of experience in a similar role. We will consider fresh graduates if they can convince us that they have what it takes to do the job and have the qualities and qualifications as mentioned above.
• Graduate in any discipline, however, we will pay more attention to what you have done outside of your curriculum than what you studied to 'get the grades'
