Precision Model Works, a company devoted to the creation of high quality scale models and miniatures, offers a wide array of Indian Railways models that bring history to life in intricate detail. Each model, Fabricated in high resolution 3D printers and then handcrafted with the utmost care by a team of skilled craftsmen, captures the essence of these legendary locomotives, rolling stocks and accessories making them a collector's delight for rail enthusiasts across the globe. Here, we are not just making models, we are making dreams come true!

We are primarily a 'made to order' setup. We have two processes - small batch production and 'made to order' range. We typically take pre-orders for small batch productions and deliver the whole set of models in one go after the completion of the production process irrespective of when the orders are placed. For 'made to order' items we typically ship an item within 60-75 days of receiving the order. We do provide some customization options as well depending on our bandwidth like realistic weathering and installing additional features for an additional fee.

As we embark in to the journey of producing ICF coaches, we start with the one that ALL of us associate with the most - the 3-tier sleeper coaches! We have taken our time and made these models in a way so that you cannot help but imagine yourself shrinking in size and get inside! While our standard versions have many great features including open vestibule on one side and period correct toilet and vent details where applicable, it's the premium range that really takes you inside the model with their openable doors, detailed interiors, lighting and pre-installed figures (optional). Pantograph Addon

Impressive!

This was my first purchase of anything related to model railroading. Must say I am really impressed with the quality of the locomotive model. The details are on point and the basic weathering that I opted for really makes the loco look very realistic. My childhood has been spent travelling behind these ED ALCOs on trains in KR and this will remain in my collection as a sweet memory.

Best detail in HO figures

I am very pleased with the level of detail in all of the figure sets By PMV. You can almost ride the bicycles too. Many individual details are shown on the bicycle. The photos show my stages in painting. When I start with spraying the figures, black, they naturally produce better shadows from a distance. These photographs are extreme close-ups. In reality, the illusion of the lady's dress is very believable. The color washes look like they are printed. This is my technique and not the PMV technique. I like the way Sai paints the figures. Sai does a better job than my homemade version.

Fun with Figures

I have been having a lot of fun painting these incredibly detailed figures. To my knowledge, these figures are the only ones that clearly show fingers separated in HO scale. That is a remarkable level of detail. In the photo, which is a work in progress, I have tried to depict the hands so that you could see them. To give you an idea how tiny this really is, check out the distance between the ridgelines of my fingerprints.

Impressed by the details

I have never seen such a detailed coach , it takes you back in time when it used to run. There is no differentiation of real vs miniature in the pictures. Super happy with it and good job done by the team.
